Shower elements

Step-free, floor-level installation, wheelchair accessible and easy to use – JACKOBOARD Aqua satisfies these requirements as a matter of course.

The shower element offers an enormous variety of design possibilities: in addition to the extensive standard range, every imaginable shape can be produced, whether circular, rectangular, trapezoid or polygonal, whether with central or offset drain outlet. JACKON Insulation constructs the shower element to the customer's exact specifications and requirements.

  • Push the drain outlet into the existing pipe and centre it.
  • Adjust the drain to the required height.
  • Fill the floor recess with levelling screed or a cement-based levelling fill and smooth flat to the desired height.
  • Once the levelling screed has hardened, apply a suitable adhesive (e.g. tile or flexible adhesive) to the entire underside of the shower element using a notched trowel.
  • Set the JACKOBOARD shower element in the screed recess so that the seal ring lies centrally on the drain.
  • Next, bolt the drain firmly to the shower element using the metal ring and the three threaded screws.
  • Seal all joints with JACKOBOARD sealing tape and tile adhesive.
  • Working outwards from the grate, tile the shower element.
  • Barrier-free shower with JACKOBOARD Aqua. The fall is already built in.
  • Ready-tiled shower with JACKOBOARD Aqua.
