History

2012

JACKON Insulation GmbH is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

2011

JACKON Insulation GmbH once again becomes the fully owned subsidiary of JACKON AS Norway.

2006

The companies Gefinex-Jackon GmbH in Mechau and Gefinex-Jackon Vertriebs GmbH in Steinhagen merge and start trading under the name of JACKON Insulation GmbH. The shareholders are JACKON AS in Norway and the CRH Group from Ireland.

2001

Integration of Gefinex and Gefinex-Jackon companies into the Irish CRH Group, one of the leading suppliers of building materials in Europe, and integration of a further production plant in Olen (Belgium).

1997

Foundation of Gefinex-Jackon Vertriebs GmbH in Steinhagen.

1993

Opening of the production plant in Mechau (Germany)

1984

Foundation of the Gefinex Gesellschaft für innovative Extrusionsprodukte mbH as a specialist in the manufacture of innovative PE-foam extrusions and insulating materials in Steinhagen. 

1987

Foundation of Gefinex-Jackon GmbH as a manufacturer of XPS insulation materials in collaboration with the Norwegian parent company JACKON/AS.
